Dexory, today announced it has successfully closed an $80 million Series B funding round. The round was led by DTCP, with participation from Latitude Ventures, Wave-X and Bootstrap Europe, along with existing investors Atomico, Lakestar, Capnamic and several angels from the logistics industry.

DB Schenker, a global leader in logistics and supply chain management, partnered with Dexory to introduce cutting-edge robotics and AI technology into the US market. This collaboration aimed to address the day-to-day challenges of real-time stock visibility and occupancy tracking while optimising resource utilisation across DB Schenker's operations.

Yusen Logistics, a global leader in supply chain solutions, sought to improve service delivery for its end customers, including leading electronics manufacturers, by investing in digitalisation and automation. To achieve this, Yusen Logistics partnered with Dexory to deploy the DexoryView platform, aiming to enhance real-time inventory visibility and operational efficiency.

Maersk and iB Cargo partnered to optimise the Bolintin-Deal distribution centre (DC) in Bucharest, Romania. This initiative was undertaken to serve one of the largest global furniture and interior decoration companies.

Dexory’s technology is now in use at one of DB Schenker’s significant sites in Utah. This follows Dexory’s strategic expansion announcement into the North American market in early February.

A.P. Moller - Maersk stands as a global leader, yet faced significant challenges during their UK expansions. These challenges included managing multiple warehouse management systems (WMS) and addressing daily operational issues like stock discrepancies and a lack of visibility.

Traditional manual methods are not only time-consuming but also prone to errors, leading to misplaced goods and unnecessary expenditure.

Though technological changes have happened, the reality is that many warehouses still rely heavily on manual labour, and the level of automation varies widely across different industries and regions of the world.

The company has chosen to adopt DexoryView as its preferred inventory and tracking solution at four strategic Iron Mountain warehouses across Kettering Symmetry Park, Lutterworth Magna Park North and Rugby Symmetry Park.

Larger warehouses present new challenges to warehouse managers, particularly with inventory stock taking and operational visibility. To keep track of the higher volume of goods, warehouses now need to audit more pallets per hour and reach racks that can be up to 14 m tall.
