Menzies introduces BotAndUs system ahead of its Heathrow air cargo tech event

Air cargo company Menzies Aviation has deployed a Mimi robot, from BotsAndUs, at its Heathrow Airport cargo facility ahead of its first showcase event to demonstrate aviation logistics technology.

The autonomous robot tracks goods at every stage of the warehouse process and is designed to enhance inventory management and slot utilisation.

Mimi will be on display as part of Menzies technology showcase, co-ordinated by Rory Fidler, Menzies’ vice president – cargo technology. It is the first initiative of its kind for Menzies as the company looks to invest in innovative solutions to improve operational efficiencies, enhance workplaces for employees and support Menzies’ goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2033, its 200th anniversary.
